Built on a European technology legacy

In 1972, Hasso Plattner co-founded SAP and went on to build one of the few truly global software companies to emerge from Europe, at a time when few believed a company of that scale could be built from here.

That conviction is at the heart of HPVC.

We believe Europe can produce category-defining technology companies with global impact. And we believe the founders building them deserve ambitious partners from the very beginning.

From our home in Potsdam, next to the Hasso Plattner Institute, one of Europe’s leading institutions for software engineering and AI research, we partner with founders taking on difficult technical problems and pursuing ambitious ideas.
